Why use Page Jumps?<\/h4>\n

You might have a list of items at the top of the post and using these jump links means you can allow someone to jump straight to a place rather than scrolling down and looking.<\/p>\n

Create a Page Jump<\/h4>\n

The link starts it (the \u2018Click me\u2019) is written like this:<\/p>\n

<a href=\"#unique-identifier\">Click me<\/a><\/code><\/p>\n

Note the #<\/p>\n

The link where that goes to is written like this:<\/p>\n

<a name=\"unique-identifier\">See?<\/a><\/code><\/p>\n

The\u00a0#unique-identifier<\/code> matches the\u00a0name=\"unique-identifier\"<\/code>.<\/p>\n

So you could have\u00a0<a href=\"#another-identifier\">Jump 2<\/a><\/code> to\u00a0<a name=\"another-identifier\">Place 2<\/a><\/code><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the post or page, add this before all of the other HTML:<\/p>\n

and anywhere you want a link to zoom them to the top of the page, you put this:<\/p>\n
